Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Glancebar application and website (glancebar.app), provided by Max Singer ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Glancebar, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Glancebar.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Glancebar on Apple devices you own or control, for your own use. Glancebar is closed-source software. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

2. Your Google account and data

Glancebar connects to Google services using your credentials and your authorization. You are responsible for your Google account and for complying with Google's applicable terms. Your use of Google services through Glancebar is subject to Google's own terms and policies. Glancebar processes your data locally on your device as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Early software

Glancebar is early-stage software (version 0.1.0) and is provided free of charge. Features may change, break, or be removed. The build is signed but not notarized by Apple; you choose to install it at your discretion.

4. No warranty

Glancebar is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Glancebar will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will work with any particular Google or Apple service version.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, access, or profits, arising from or related to your use of Glancebar, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Glancebar (which is zero).

6. No affiliation

Glancebar is an independent application. It is not created, endorsed, or sponsored by Google LLC or Apple Inc. "Google", "Gmail", "Google Drive", "Google Calendar", "Apple", and "macOS" are trademarks of their respective owners.

7. Termination

You may stop using Glancebar at any time by revoking access and deleting the app. We may suspend or discontinue Glancebar, in whole or in part, at any time. Sections 4–6 survive termination.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
